The Love We Had
The love we had has left a pain,
You broke my heart but didn’t explain.
The last time we talked it was just a fight.
All you think about is your own might.
You care so little that you left me to remain.
I never understood what it took to tame
A heart that beat but was all in vain.
I hope now that you’re gone, I can see the light.
The love we had has left a pain.
I hope that what you have done is driving you insane
Knowing that you gave me great feelings of disdain.
I hold in a lot of spite,
But still I wish you were my undivided right.
I miss who you were but not who you became.
The love we had has left a pain.
