Hot tears stream

Down raw flesh

Leaving a trail

Of hurt

Amongst red cheeks

Stricken with pain

Colored by anger

Soothed by eyes

That look upon with care

Lips

Placing a gentle kiss

Along the wet lines

Wiping away

All pain

That was ever there
