I’m in my room, creeping out my window,



looking down on the world below.
Oh so big, I’m so small.





Now I’m snuggling in my bed,
hoping the monsters beneath won’t tread.


Scary thoughts rushing through my head.
Remembering, it’s clear,
the world was a scary place,





But that fear is still here.
