Edge.
So close to the edge
She can see the abyss below
Straining towards the edge
But reality wont let her go
Tried time and time again
to go to that safe place
The voices are haunting mocking
Her every cry for peace
she longs for a more simple time
where the abyss was just a puddle
And the edge was never there
Wondering how she got here
When she left the beaten path
She leans toward the edge
She is lost in the moment
The moment is lost in time
Time is lost in her mind
One deep breath is all she needs
One more step
She's finally free
