Favorite Quote:
“In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe.”

Sparkling eyes –
covered by horn-rimmed glasses.
A boyish grin illuminates the world.
The brightest of stars
extinguished in a tragic second.

He came, he went.
Music’s voice was forever changed.
The road to stardom
was now completely paved.

Records were made, records were broke;
The American dream was lived.
The visions of a little Lubbock boy,
were fulfilled by the tune of a Lubbock man.
