Layer after layer.
The farther you go,
The deeper you get.
Turning around,
Going back,
is the easiest thing in the world.
Pushing ahead,
Going on,
is the hardest thing in the world.
Easy path,
No reward.
Hard path,
wonderful reward.
Balance.
Hardship against reward.
Helping can hurt.
Hurting can help.
Forge ahead,
take the risk,
of trying to help,
of ending up hurting.
Help all you can,
Sometimes the words don't get through.
Angry words,
Sometimes are the only things,
That get through.
Easy path,
or the hard path?
Turn back,
or push ahead?
