Our Lives
The playfulness
Of a child
Never fully dies,
But lasts with us
Into adulthood,
And for the rest of our lives.
As we age,
We deny our
Child-like selves,
And focus instead
On "growing up"
And moving on to die.
But as we age,
We soon realize,
That we miss
Those playful days,
And we wish to go
Back to them,
About that, we do not lie.
Hold on to those playful days,
For all of your lives.
