She closes her eyes

darkness ensues

demolition of the mind

from few words

of true

and kindness

contrasts with black

ying and yang

confusion is the game

playing unfairly

inside a head

I love you’s unsaid

she dies

she is dead

The author's comments:
This piece is about a girl who gets into a car accident and ends up in a coma. She never got to say good-bye to her family or friends. While they are above her in her hospital bed saying kind words about her, she understands she is in a coma and then dies.
