Favorite Quote:
I am going to take this bucket of water and pour it on the flames of hell, and then I am going to use this torch to burn down the gates of paradise so that people will not love God for want of heaven or fear of hell, but because He is God. - J. G.

Tears flood my eyes
I slam my head into the wall
You keep telling those lies
I'll take the blame for it all
Does no one see what this does to me?

I let my eyes slip closed
And listen..
To the wind
To the people
To myself

Everything is gone
In a flash, the things I needed
Brilliant
Infuriating
Anger takes over

I fade away
No one knows
Gone
Nothing

Darkness overwhelms my being
There is no light
No hope...

But you.
So bring me back
And hold on tight
Don't let go
I'm not alright

I wrote this when I was 13, going through an incredibly dark period in my life. It's interesting to see the comparisons between my older, more elementary writing and what I write today.
