Best Friends
I wonder is she misses me, too.
She’s intelligent
Red hair, hazel eyes,
Tall and fit.
She was my best friend
We were always there for each other,
I sat in the waiting room when you had the accident.
To talk as if we had no where to be,
we told each other secrets that no one else knew.
To comfort as a pillow that softens the night,
To laugh like girls at a slumber party.
She was my best friend
Until, we drifted apart
Failed to be there for each other
Failed to talk,
Failed to comfort,
Failed to laugh.
She was my best friend
And I miss how things used to be.
