Pushing Daisies

January 19, 2012
Message body I saw the sky collapse
The stars fell leaving holes in our new world
The fantasy failed
The Morning looked so blue
That evening it turned red
The pages of fairy tales I have read
Promised happiness ,I dreamt as a kid
These stories went forever
The love lasted for ever
Obstacles they would conquer
Deep places they would wander
Forever wasn't long
The blue jays song
Its tune was wrong
The harmony was lost
The love it faded
My creativity was no more
The places we explored
Have collapsed and turned to wooden floors
Golden gates to doors
And restrooms out of shores
Cities grew from forest
And rainbows left our eyes
Airplanes and pollution clouded our blue skies
We lost the gift to fly
We lost the will to try
We lost the gift of love
The flame has minimized
The pages lost its ink
And the pages have turned frail
Lost bottles filled with words un said
On oceans they will sail
Bills are in the mail
And it brings us back to life
The cold house that we kept
Has turned my chest plate into ice
No longer am I your knight and the dragons that I fight
Will only turn to fought And my thoughts
Will hold them tight
This happily ever after turned disaster within hours
Contemplate in showers
In real life I've been a coward
In my thoughts I've been empowered
But in true ,She's my endower
And now that she's long gone
I think I might be pushing flowers
