I try and forget the words said

I try to forget what I heard

The words and the names.

The words weigh me down

They press down in my body

They break my bones

They make me bleed

But I cant escape

The words said to my face and to my back

Is there any other way to escape other

than.....Death?

No

If I run the words will still catch me

If I hide the words will find me

That's when I finally stop

Stop the thoughts, the feeling, stop my breathing

As I slowly drift into the darkness

The words disappear

The weight lifts off my body

My bones mend back together

My cuts vanish

My heart stops....
