There's no such thing as super heroes

As a child I thought of you
As a super hero
Hiding in the shadows
To protect me from all evil
Afraid that is I knew you
I would be in danger
Buy now I'm grown up
And I know your real reason
I know now
You are not super
And you are definitely not my hero
What you did does not make you a super hero
It makes you a villain
And like all villain's
You deserve to pay
So your punishment
Never getting to see or know
What you chose to leave behind
Me.
