Warm days and warmer nights, Silent dreams of love and fear
Drifting by while stars begin to dance along the cool, calm sky
Trees sway to the rhythm of the wind while owls croak and crickets sing,
Both harmonizing with the soft, slow melodies of this summer night's wind
The world snores faintly against my ear. Even the City that never sleeps is visited by Hypnos and Morpheus, the gods of dreams
The only sounds still around are those of gossiping trees as they whisper secrets back and forth,
And before I fade into the night, consumed by sleep, the world blushes one final time as the moon kisses the stars, and grins a good-night.
