Airborne
Sometimes I like to think back to that moment when my feet left the ground
I wasn’t governed by my fears of falling anymore
Too late to back out, only left to enjoy the ride
Eyes shut
I felt my body being pulled into the air higher and higher
The ocean water was not the same teal from the air
But a mixture of blues according to depth
People were the seashells of the beach
Sprinkled here and there in a multitude of colors
The sun reflected onto my parachute
Sending me into an orange world for a few moments
