Daddy's Home
I wonder how my
 daddy's doin'.
Out there on them battle fields,
 the enemies show no mercy.
 I see the bombs drop,
 surrounding me.
I'm just waitin' for one to hit near me.
 I hear screams of agony
 coming from the other men.
I'm just waitin' for one of them to be daddy's.
As much as that would kill me,
 my daddy would die honorably.
I'd be left to carry on
 his name.
 I see the door swing
 open real wide.
 Daddy walks through the door.
 The forty-two year old veteran
 has on a sweet smile,
 "Daddy's home."
