Cool grass beneath my toes,
slight breeze tickling my face.
Strong arms embracing me,
This is how it should be.
Cool lips against my cheek,
Silent nights while I sleep.
Whispering voices in my ear,
Everything’s becoming clearer.
Cool hearts broken in two,
Sweet kisses given away.
Wishes that I’ll never see,
This is the real me.
