Red: the color of roses,
when they’re picked from the bush.
Orange: the color of a tabby cat,
roaming the streets for food.
Yellow: the color of lemonade,
never being made too sweet or sour.
Green: the color of trees,
working to keep us alive.
Blue: the color of a fuzzy blanket,
That keeps us warm night and day.
Indigo: the color of the oceans,
having the sea life swim free.
Violet: the color of grapes,
when they’re picked from the vine.
