Blossoming From Thunderstorms
Not a day goes by where I don't feel bad
For moving out here away from my dad
My conscience beats me up inside
Makes me feel horrible and want to hide
My dad is my hero there is no doubt
But I knew one day this would happen
The day I pack up and move out
Yes this is sooner then I planned
Even a different type of land
From corn fields to mountains
It's such a change
From all bars and full service
To never in range
I know friends at home don't understand my reason
Even I feel being at a new school is considered treason
However I do know this is what lifes about
Your like a flower waiting to sprout
Begins with a seed in the dirt
Sits through many thunderstorms that do hurt
But over time everything turns out the way you wish
Blossomed, ready, and feeling acomplished
So remember
The road to success is always under construction
Consider each choice and mistake, not the conclusion
But part of the introduction.
