I have never been through a moment like this,
I feared this moment from our very first kiss,
You were so sweet in every possible way,
I just wish you were here to stay,
But instead everyone is starting to crowd around,
Watching your body getting put in the ground,
Everyone’s faces are filled with mourning,
And everyone’s tears are rapidly pouring,
You were something special and more than a wife,
But I do understand that this is just a part of life,
I will try and move on and hopefully get through,
But my heart will always be left black and blue,
The thought of you not being here anymore,
Makes my heart oh so very sore.
