Disillusioned, can you save me?
This is nothing like intimacy
Breathless words from pale pink lips
Forever entwined at the hips

I am worthy, I am worthy
Please tell me, can you save me?
Fear lingers in me through those tearful nights
Like the last breath of the moon before daylight

Beautiful, but not by you
Will I ever be enough?
These tears weren’t formed new
This skin is only so tough

Don’t let me linger on in this misery
