"Fire"
Fire
Burning brightly:
When you’re here
You captivate everyone.
Beautiful.
Bright as the sun.
People can’t tear their eyes from you.
But you fuel yourself with me.
I’ll keep you
But you destroy me.
Burning parts of me away
And when you’re gone
I’m nothing.
Ashes.
Blackness.
With you I’m beautiful.
Without you I’m charred.
So I keep you going.
All beautiful things must die.
All fires go out.
Eventually you will run out of fuel.
But what will remain of me?
Sometimes the most beautiful things are the most destructive.
