Mouse
Mouse,
I hear you
Up above my room
You create
From twigs
A nest
Right now
Little mouse
You and I are alike
Alone, wanting more
You desire, I crave
There's something between us
Little mouse
Can you see?
We're searching for something
Something much greater than we are
For you you it's a home
Something sturdy, stable,
and quaint
For me its love
Something beautiful, spectacular,
Romantic
While you create yours
From wooden sticks with dust
I put mine together
From the pieces of my heart
That was shattered
We can make it
Together of course
And when yours is done
Which I'm sure it will be soon
Help me with mine?
Because every time i put my heart
Back together
A piece seems to be missing
