Playing in the Snow
Fuzzy scarf wrapped around my neck.
Thick coats of grey clouds.
Snowflakes fall from the sky.
Inch after inch after inch, the pile grows a mile high.
Trudging,
Struggling,
Pushing myself onward to the middle of my yard.
Falling backwards, I land on a soft white cushion of snow.
Smiling,
Laughing,
Playing,
Enjoying what the winter storm has brought.
Turning the ground green to white.
