Some Things You Never Forget

I think constantly about forgetting you
Closing my trying to concentrate on anything else but
I seem to lose track of your face
The curves of your lips
The color in your eyes
I forget how they twinkle
But, like a ghost from my past
Your voice stays with me
I can hear you in my head
In my heart
A terribly beautiful sound
Like an enchanting symphony
Putting me in a trace
Drawing me back to you
Or like nails on a chalkboard
Making me cringe and run away.
