Many are sad, many are understanding
And many are amazed when they hear my story.
For it is of the nomads: those never live in one place
Like I, who flies from one part of the world to the next
Living here, and moving on there.

While others see problems in changes
Of every element of life,
I see them in others - within myself.
How this life:
Makes me
Shapes me
Breaks me.

No part of this globe is home,
No relationships last - I fear to make them
No steadiness- quick boredom of my habitat
Instilled a feeling of yearning
Looking so far ahead that I forget the present
Adaptation to its limits that it leaves me unsure
Of my definition.

I am here and nowhere.
Yet this is ultimately
What rushes each atom of my body:
What spices me life
Excites my life
Defines my life

I can't give it up.
I fear being given the option to do so.
Because there would be regrets at not taking it
I know that I shall embrace
My experience
My uniqueness
My migration
Any moment
Any hour
Any day
