If silence was never invited
Then why does it follow, to capture a chance
To darken their will, be their trance
Like time, always moving, but yet frozen
Like a shadow, it creeps into every crevice
It is as empty as a black abyss
But this is something we can never foretell
For it doesn't listen very well
I say man to all
Who cannot gather such knowledge
Shall be their fall
For a wise man will know what to do
When this silence is upon you
But a fool and only a fool
Will never know what to do
When it comes to this
An invitation to silence
Then why does it follow, to capture a chance
To darken their will, be their trance
Like time, always moving, but yet frozen
Like a shadow, it creeps into every crevice
It is as empty as a black abyss
But this is something we can never foretell
For it doesn't listen very well
I say man to all
Who cannot gather such knowledge
Shall be their fall
For a wise man will know what to do
When this silence is upon you
But a fool and only a fool
Will never know what to do
When it comes to this
An invitation to silence
