- What Matters
Every day I wake up with joy
For god gave great hands to this young boy,
He took them from me to open my eyes,
He traded the blue for grey skies,
He brought back the sunny days,
As soon as I had changed my ways.
He wanted to show me that hands are needed,
So make sure my lesson is heeded.
God has given us all many tools,
If we don’t use them we are fools.
Some were made to be great stars,
Some were made to work on cars.
God gave gifts to all the poets,
There gift is beauty in their words they show it.
God showed me to love my hands,
So they will do only things for which he stands.
The gifts of which we have possession,
Should never bring pain of depression.
These gifts are ment to be shared,
We wouldn’t have them if god hadn’t cared.
