The sound of rain as it falls...

i hear steps on the floor, and my heart stops...

the waves roll back, the lion crouches lower,
the eagle turns it's wings downward suspended above earth and cloud.
The sound of a voice, and rivers join and crash,
Thunder across the land, and then a still breeze with an echo at the end.
Whispering your name, and beautiful memories vanquish away the nightmares.
A silent sight, we watched the stars that night.
A hay wagon on wheels, changed the way i now feel.
Words or care, and constant smiles made life fair, consequences for every frown; you helped me not hit the ground.
Our story of ups and downs, our emotions hidden and unbound,
Trying to comprehend the moon and stars, while I'm floating around in a world so round.
passion in your eyes makes me trip, and your words make me flip.
i dare man or beast to stand in between, i promise to fight till their no longer seen,
