I'm madly in love with the ocean
So why don't you go there with me?
I'd fall madly in love with you too
If you followed me out to the sea

Where the waves crash over the shore
And the sun pours down on the beach
The tide rises up on the sand
So close as it brushes my feet

In the late afternoon
We'll lay in the breeze
In a hammock for two
Just you and me

When the sun paints the sky
A soft shade of red
We'll close our eyes
And lay down for bed

The sky deepens to blue
"I love you"'s are said
One perfect ending
Made up, in my head

Something I wrote while vacationing in Cannon Beach, It's not very complex but I enjoy the simplicity
