Life is simple,
Negate the facts and be faced with a snow globe of dead ends.
Nothing cares for something,
And yet many lions want everything.
Sadly enough walking gold coins that roam our earth
Have little to no knowledge about the other worlds around them.
Traumatic eyes pierce the lengthy stares,
defying hearts weigh heavily over empty stomachs,
Angels it seems from beyond
Carry hope to those who do not sympathize.
Liberated by the thought of helpful strangers
Causes honey to overwhelm such pure minds.
Their hearts have so much beauty to give to the world,
Unlikely enough only dodo birds of our age get the chance to glance.
And only dolphins will get to see this inspiring day.

The author's comments:
My poetry emphasizes the world hunger crisis that goes on right under our noses every day. Also how many people around the world can care less about the famine that effects young children's lives.
