Leaving
I thought he was the one,
 At least it was fun.
 Once again, I was wrong,
Maybe it lasted a little too long.

 Now, my world is small,
So this is what it’s like to fall.
 I’m thrown around without you,
If only you had a clue.

 It’s all downhill from here,
 I can not steer.
 Everything is dull,
 So please don’t pull.

 I know I wasn’t always right,
But you didn’t have to put up a fight.
 I treated you pretty well,
 I wish I never fell.

 Because of our mistakes,
I hurt like venom from a snake.
 We’re done,
 You were never the one.
