Christmas Eve
Christmas is near
jingle bells are ringing
joy fills the air
carolers are singing
Houses are lit
clothes are on sale
family is gathering
its the end of the year
fresh cookies baking
and cold milk to share
brings laughter throughout
the celebration is here
under the mistletoe
you wait for a kiss
from the only person
who has ever made you wish
Mom is wrapping
All our gifts
I can’t wait to open them,
And see what everyone gets
We eat our dinner
Then go to bed
We say our prayers
And then lay our heads
Tomorrow is Christmas
I cannot wait
Its going to be so much fun
You best not be late!
