Ribbons and Razorblades
Ribbons and Razorblades make up my life,
The same way a scalpel can make up a knife.
With razors to wrap ‘round my beautiful wrists,
And ribbons to play with my hair in the mist.
Crisscrossing lines of beautiful white,
And upon my arms the saw blade will write.
The constant call of a helpless plea,
Somebody anybody, please help me!
Razors to lace up and so decorate,
Ribbons to tangle and string me as bait.
Thoughts go unspoken, a whispering wind
To remind you the times that you messed up and sinned.
Ribbons and Razorblades: Barney and Friends.
Heartbreaks and sorrows: a beautiful end.
Ribbons to hide and Razors to kill…
Thus is the sorrow embedding the will.

They are not the mark of weakness, but of power.
They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues.
They are messengers of overwhelming grief ...
and unspeakable love.
