Big Girls Can't Cry
I carry the weight of a thousand boulders
Burdens of life piled up on my shoulders
Beginning to feel weak
I fear I may fall
Just keep on smiling
or I might lose it all
A tear springs to my eye
trying hard not to scream
They can't see me unhappy.
No fear, so it seems
Bubbling within me
anger, hate
A million problems
Collapsing my plate
Yet I keep on the mask
That plastic smile
So that once I'm alone
I can cry for a while
