Favorite Quote:
We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

You were born an original. Don’t become a copy.

If we cannot be ourselves, there is no need for a mirror.

As the plane lands
The stairs to the plane
Slide down
I can't wait to see you,
Hold you and be next to you

My heart skips
A beat when I
See the doors to
The national airport open
In just a few minutes
We would be united again

I see you
Before you could
See me ; I run to you

As I jump into your arms
I embrace your scent and
How different you look.
I start to get the chills
When I realize you are finally
Where I want you to be,
Home

This poem is basically a sequel to Rainy Weather. The woman is finally united with her husband after he has been overseas for 2 and a half years.
