The Awakening

Nightly the dreamer dreams
from the deep chasm of the mind,
and on a road, a dark one it seems,
the dreamer walks to gain the
insight of the Buddha, Krishna, Allah.
The road must be traveled like before in a past life where the goal of the wise
was but to seek and explore-
a final cause for light to arise
within and meet the end
of the dark road.
The dreamer’s eyes open
light
no words are spoken
no thoughts spluttered.
Now is his awakening.
