What is hate, admiration devoured,
What is love, it’s calm and serene,
What is hate, its joy unseen,
What is love, it’s a first and last feat,
What is hate, it is death’s treat,
What is love, it’s the rising of kings,
What is hate, it’s the falling of things,
What is love, the peak of a mount,
What is hate, a part of self doubt,
What is love, the winner of hate,
What is hate, the loser of fate.
