Tonight is my time of redemption.
My past will be completely forgotten.
Today I will regain control.
I will stand up tall.

I will loosen this noose around my neck
And step back down to my life.
It is shocking that I am still alive,
But I am now proud to be alive.

Tonight I will prove them all wrong.
I will show them how I am strong.
I will live for myself and no one else.
This is my time of redemption.

Wow, your poem has really deep emotions! It made me think about life's purpose- I think it's a great motive for others to read if they have second thoughts about ending their life-keep up the great work :)
