It started out so wonderful.
Over a year ago this began.
I didn’t know what I was getting into,
Loving such a crazy man.
I said, “This won’t work unless things change.”
So of course you’re going to agree.
Why do I feel like I’ve been lied to?
Do you think? Or is it just me?
I believe every last word from your mouth,
I pray that that’s no mistake.
Things turn up day by day,
But that was the risk I decided to take.
Don’t get me wrong, I love you TONS.
I could easily call you my best friend.
That’s why no matter where we go,
I’ll be here ‘til the end.
The way I am might seem unfair,
But trust me, I know what’s right.
Please just let the arguing stop.
No, not another fight.
I hear things constantly
Obviously that make me sad.
How would I feel being completely done?
Overly mad and bad.
You know what needs to be done now,
And frankly, so do I.
Things need drastic changes and fixing,
But I cannot say goodbye.
