The In Crowd
There’s this thing…
In schools, cities, and countries,
Called an “ In Crowd.”
It’s when people care about how they look, and what they wear.
They wear the expensive clothes, while they have piercings in the nose.
Then, there’s me.
The one who’s allergic to bees.
I’m the different one can’t you see?
I do not have the gold, to buy those expensive clothes.
For me, those clothes are too bold.
They are not me, they make me doze.
Being in the “In Crowd" may be the style, but to me, I am extraordinary.
I promise you, that's my thing. It's not worthwhile.
Buying these expensive clothes is a crime.
It empties your pockets, and takes time.
Yet over time, a style will alter.
I knew that the whole time, that's why people shouldn't falter.
The "In Crowd" is everywhere.
And it is where everyone and everything start to transform.
