Stalker
She has just started her day,
Pampered, fresh and awake.
Strutting down cluttered streets
Making her way through the waking city,
Dark enough for street lamps to still flicker,
Like flashes from cameras hidden.
She wears a pastel blue dress
That she saw on the catwalk,
In Milan.
Her orange painted nails
Curl fingers around her iphone.
She has Make-up done just like the models
And hair as blond as bleach,
Tied in a bun made for efficiency.
Just lightly padding feet—
Break the silent monotony of the morning.
As she walks down the subway stairs
She glances around,
Feeling the prickle of eyes.
