~To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men, that is genius. Speak your latant conviction, and it shall be the universal sense, for inmost in due time becomes the outmost~

Hushed whisperes
Rippling from the sea of green
As lovely as a lullaby
Whistling, they drift along
She and I going on forever more

Dappled sunlight
Filters to the dew covered grass
Glistening, as if bathed in silver
Gentle, it warms my face
A caress from an angelic hand

Bubbling laughter
Drifts from the crystalline brook
Filling my head, as would a song
Growing, it calls me to play
My long time friend

Velvet mosses
Rest beneath my feet
Soft as a birds down
Pulsing with life it thrives
Always there to cusion your fall

Burgandy treasers
Hang on vibrant greens
As tempting as cocoa on winter days
Mischievously, they hide from view
Tempting me to taste their crimson flesh

Peacefull serentiy and I
Sit side by side in this immortal hideaway
Concealed from view as the soul is from the world
Washing away our heaving worries
For once
Surrounded by my family
I am at peace

I went for a walk in the woods, and relized just the reason I felt so at home there. It is my home.
