Silent Goodbye
Tears streak down my face,
Streaming fast, they won the race.
I spread my wings and take flight.
I go silent in the night.
I am comforted once again,
Away from the eyes of prowling men.
Where I sleep, I do not know,
But to the heaven I must go.
Over many waters you see,
Not a noise does come from me.
I reach for the stars, trembling,
Hoping to see the Chamberlain.
There he is, so I must fly.
Now I whisper my silent Goodbye.
