See Inside Myself

Dear insane me, why do i try?
Why do i sit here and pretend to be happy?
Why pretend to be something I'm not?
I'm not happy, I'm dead inside,
I feel no pain for i am entwined,
You look around and see smiles,
I look at people and see the truths,
This world isn't all laughs and cheers,
It is really just a mirror,
But when you look at the mirror,
You see a false you,
Only the person you wish you were.
