Favorite Quote:
When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile.

I run and run
On this lonely road.
I don’t know
Where it goes,
But it’s home to me
And I walk
Alone.
I stop to catch
My breath.
I’ve been running and running.
Away from home.
Away from school.
Away from everything.
The deeper I go
Into the dark, endless alley
The better it feels to breathe.
I run.
I cry.
I feel the dark, cold air
Breathing on me
And the bare trees
Swishing and Swaying,
To sing a song
To put me to sleep.
My shadow’s the only thing
That walks beside me.
But I don’t care.
No one understands me.
Why am I here?
Finally, I stop.
I’ve reached an end.
I turn around
To a brighter world.
The sun has shone.
I’ve finally escaped
The darkness and loneliness.
I walk back home,
A different person,
Alone.
But it’s okay.
I’m a stronger person.
