Barefoot was the way we spent our summer days
Barefoot is how we tramped hand in hand though the ocean waves
Barefoot was our preferred way of traveling through rocks, grass, you name it, we walked it
Barefoot is how we were born and raised, from our first steps to our final days
Barefoot was the way we wore down a path from your house to mine
Barefoot is how we chose to express ourselves, wild, free, and invincible
Barefoot was the way to go, no time for the confinement of shoes
