If your not first your last

The feel of the fresh cut grass
The bright white paint lines on the field
The stands filled with exciting fans.
The anticipation as the team huddles by the goal post.
With a break down and a yell the team jets on the field
The roar of the crowd echoes through the town
The coin is flipped and the ball soars through the clouds.
The player grabs the ball and explodes in a burst of speed.
Play by play the game goes on
Until the final whistle
The score board tells the whole story
The lights shut off
It’s quiet in the stands
Game Over.
