Sickness

I was sick. As I coughed, my throat began to itch. Trying to get the mucus from my nose, my eyes began to water. These were not just any tears. They were hot and slow. They took forever to move down my face. As I listened to LMFAO, I tried wiping them away, but it was like they left a permanent tear stain on my left cheek. As Sorry for Party Rocking went through, Sexy and I Know It came on, I was still trying to remove this tear. As Lauren Bennett began to sing through Party Rock Anthem, the tear disappeared. Then Speaking in Tongues by Justin Bieber comes on, and my throat is itchy again. I try to follow the words, but my voice is raspy, barely audible. I try to sing Mistletoe. Fail. I clear my throat, and finally cough up that crap that was holding me back. I finish singing Mistletoe like the PRO I am. Sickness can’t hold me back. I’m gonna Swag It Out (by Zendaya).
