You know that you're alive--
your heart beats
your lungs fill
your mind wanders
But these actions do not define you
You feel the cool autumn breeze on your face
you kiss your lover goodbye on the porch
you eat a delicious piece of cake
you play your favorite album on repeat
Cry,
laugh,
sing,
dance
You will make it
You will be happy
you will be free
nothing is ever perfect
But life gives us these moments
for a reason
So that we may relive them
for years to come.
